IP/PE is a new multi-week performance enhancement and injury prevention
program that combines specific exercises for developing core strength and knee/ankle stability with our BreakAway TM speed, agility and
quickness training. This program is directed by Randy Brewer (NASM-CPT), a certified trainer who is
totally focused on performance enhancement and injury prevention for the serious athlete.
The IP/PE program additionally integrates plyometric training, agility
drills, and quickness exercises specifically designed to enhance your performance on the basketball court.
However, not only basketball players can benefit from this training. Athletes in volleyball, soccer, baseball,
football or any other athletic activity with intense dynamic movement will gain advantages from this training.
This program also identifies and strengthens weak muscle groups to aid in sports injury prevention. Most injuries occur as a result
of poor conditioning and improper biomechanics. Don't let these factors short-circuit your performance,
because even the most skilled athlete cannot perform if they are injured.
Format:
The IP/PE program will have multiple training levels to support progression to
higher measures of coordination, explosiveness, core stability and intensity. Level One is the first segment of the program and
consists of four 75-minutes training sessions meeting once a week. Subsequent levels may require
additional training sessions during the week to accomplish the desired rate of performance enhancement.
